Hey I was meaning to post this weeks ago.
It was my 21st birthday on the 1st November.
I woke up @ 6am in the morning to go to work, got in the shower and there was no hot water left as my sister had been in the shower for over 20mins before I got in. I reversed out of my driveway almost crashed into another car that was speeding down my road, and got to work late
work was just same old same old
left work 25mins after I was supposed to finish, as I was sitting in my car at the lights, my car broke down on me!, I had cars behind me beeping horns and so on and so forth, I restarted my car and started driving again only to accelerate and then it died on me again, and then 1 more time after that. A drive that is only supposed to take me 15mins to get home took over an hour! I had to fork out over $200 for a service on the car.
When I got home my grandparents gave me a present which was a clock in the shape of a drumkit. They then had a huge argument over wheter the clock actually worked or not!.
I went to my room to get away from it all, cleared out the messages in my mobile phone and then remembered one of my friends had sent me a message to ask me to pray for a missionary in East Timor who was due to be beaten to death that day.
It was then that I realised that I didn't have such a crap day after all.
I'm so fortunate to be in a country such as Australia, where what we call a crap day is really nothing in comparison to people being killed.
So next time you have a crap day, remember you're still alive, breathing, have a roof over your head, food to eat and people who love you. Realise how fortunate you really are!
God Bless Guys
♥Chad
