{My Philippines Trip}
15-29 January 2006
The most amazing couple you will ever meet - Paul and Gerrah Kulikovsky
The Crew in Hong Kong airport, the cleanest, most modern airport you'll ever go to! ... Every airport beats Manila airport by a mile!
OHHH the excitement! Steve, Myself and Adrian getting amped in Hong Kong!
The people from Guiuan Christian Fellowship, The church Paul and Gerrah are helping to start up. And the people we spent the most time with.
The modified shipping container that us guys stayed in, whilst the girls got to stay in a flashy motel!
Tony and his mate, the 2 builder guys who Paul has hired to help build the church. They make every single brick by hand!! Been working on the church for over a year now, its huge!
Applying sunscreen, whilst sitting on the boat headed for some island with Leah modelling good ol Bi-Lo sunscreen
Giving my testimony to some school kids on the island. (It's a pic of me surfing)
A bunch of the kids at a fellowship lunch at the church, Mate the food was awesome!
This is in the township of Guiuan, kinda like an equliavent of Victoria Square for you adelaide people. This is where we did a big outreach service, was rad! These are some of the Guys from the Guiuan public school, and me looking like a dork.
Me and Adrian helping out painting the church, well actually Pauls telling us what he wants done here, but we did do painting, LOVE adrians facial expression in this pic. Looks deep in thought! :)
Manila is such a city of contrasts, one minute you're driving past huge skyscapers and huge shopping centres, the next you're driving past slums. The air was soo polluted, when I first got off the plane I couldn't breathe and I felt like chucking! Sooo glad to be living in australia
Mate, Filipino kids are soo cute! I wanted to take some home! haha
Henry scoffing down a Mango, whilst I'm trying to serenade passers by our shipping container. Ha Ha .. I look pretty stoned there! :)
Breaks you're heart seeing kids like this, with nothing, probably only about 5 or 6 wondering around the streets all hours of the night.
Uh .. yeah ... Steve, Sal, Me and Adrian
This was probably one of my most memorable moments of the trip, after the youth service, There were some kids pulling some awesome dance moves. I ended up having an Aussie Vs Filipinos dance off with them, some funny as dance moves, The filipino kids killed me! haha :)
Message to Filipinos - "Steal this and you are putting shame on yourself and your family"
Message to Aussies - "Hey take this it would make a funny Souvenir!"
(Note: no I didn't take one! .... actually forgot to get it from the girls lodge ;b)

Mate, how good is that sunset, better when you're actually sitting in the plane looking out, but ya get the idea! How can people think this world was not created by God, and just some accident!
