Reflections...

Was pretty tops!

Well despite the fact that I didn't get out of bed till like 2.30pm, resulting in missing out on the morning surf i had planned
Surf forecast was pretty crap anyway! ... but was the first boxing day surf i missed out on in like 5 years or something crazy like that!

Anyway ... I was determined to not waste the rest of the day, tried calling a stack of mates, but they were all to busy with their partners ... grr .. why can't everyone just stay single! haha

Ended up having Adrian, Josh, My little bro Myles and myself all pile into Adrians car and head for Glenelg beach, kinda sucky driving for an hr to the beach with no airconditioning in the car .. but anyway

Went for a swim, Josh decided he was going to do some tai chi up on the wall surrounding the beach, then we went and got a drink and some chicken parmies at the Jetty Bar, Icecream/waffle cone from some gourmet icecream place - mine was a bit weird (apple yougurt on a choc dipped waffle cone) kinda tasted a bit like carob .. if you know what that is .. no-one seems to!

BUT THEN!

we got a bit bored and decided to get in the car and play our game "random road" BUT it had a twist this time:
Rules as follows:

- Required to have x2 20c pieces
- At every traffic light the coins need to be tossed
- two heads means you turn right
- two tails means you turn left
- head and a tail mean you go straight ahead

....WELL we ended up in Norton Summit (WAY WAY up in the hills) and stopped at the YWAM base, which kinda spun me out! ... all the crew i knew who should be there were home in their respective countries or travelling around australia with their families, or just left the base 10mins before we got there! .. BUT we were going to check out the Lobethal lights, but didnt and headed back towards the city ... but stopped off at the norton summit hotel in the hope that Michael (another YWAMer) was working that night ... he wasn't ... BUT he was there for a party .. so was good to see him! :)

AND we got home in like half an hr! .. that spun me out!!! ... would normally take well over an hr! .. crazy
